My latest found, Heaven's last best gift, my ever new delight..
Heaven may refer to the physical heavens, the sky or the seemingly endless expanse of the universe beyond, the traditional literal meaning of the term in English. Since at least the 11th century, it has typically also been used to refer to the plane of existence of an afterlife (often held to exist in another realm) in various religions and spiritual philosophies, often described as the holiest possible place, accessible by people according to various standards of divinity, goodness, piety, faith or other virtues.
But Heaven is not the Heaven that humans have thought as a salvation, as a place for those who have done good and lived virtuous lives. Heaven is called Yetsirah and Yetsirah is home to Angels. No humans, no afterlife, but a place to call home.
And Yetsirah is ran by Lord Shemhemphorael. And what if this place of rumored paradise dealt with everyday issues, everyday crimes, everyday corruptions? Are Angels as "Angelic" as they appear? Or are they flawed like their inferiors?
And out of good still to find means of evil..
In many religious traditions, Hell is a place of suffering and punishment in the afterlife, often in the underworld. Religions with a linear divine history often depict Hell as endless. Religions with a cyclic history often depict Hell as an intermediary period between incarnations.
Lucifer Satan took the step. When no other Angel saw that Yetsirah's laws were wrong, that Angels were being unfairly treated and not even allowed to have children of their own free will, he took the step. He started the War, he started the rebellion, and he found Gehinnom. He made a new home for the lost Angels, for the Fallen ones, and for the Demons. And they made him their king, their Lord.
And they will fight. Oh, yes, they will fight.
