Calculating how much time she exactly spent in the area that seemed to be her favorite place to linger - seemed to be almost at a loss. It had been so long that she'd even lost count on what time it was. Sure she had a device that could tell her what time it was but she'd left it at home. Of course she being one whom didn't drive had simply walked on foot to this majestic abandonment of a house. The only thing that even seemed to work here was the old fashioned record player - a record that played her favorite type of music. Her attire consisted of short shorts classified as booty shorts, black - and a shirt that draped over the shorts lightly almost covering them all and Gucci boots brown. Her hair was pulled back in a hair-tie as she played it and let her fingers slide against the wall, feeling alone and not having to be on alert because she knew nobody else would join - at least that what she'd thought.
Dark honey colored eyes glanced around the room as she relaxed a bit. Her mother was the only one that knew she was a wolf by full-moon and her secret would die with her once her mother finally let go. Sadly it would be a while because her mother was a strong person. Placing her front part of her body against the wall in the hallway where the entrance was her finger tips would place as well as her forehead as she closed her eyes as if to feel the house breath as the music continued to play throughout the house. Keeping a smile on her face. The only thing now-a days that ever did give her the reason to show emotion.

A boy ran though the forest, weaving in between the trees. He liked it out here. It was the one place that he actually felt at home. It was probably because he had spent the majority of his life living on his own out here in woods very much like this. He was headed nowhere in particular. Just running. He loved the feeling of freedom the woods had to offer. If only for a moment, he could be free from the worries of society. He didn't have to deal with any of the annoying humans. And He didn't really have to worry about hunters either. They usually only started hunting after sunset, and it was still quite a while until then.
The trees started to thin out, revealing a large mansion. Joel had wandered past this place a few times, but he had never actually stopped to check it out. Thunder rumbled overhead, promising a storm, and he figured that he might as well take shelter. Thunderstorms fascinated him and he loved the sound of the rain. He just didn't like getting wet. So, he approached the house. It took him a while to find a way in, seeing as all the windows were boarded up, but he eventually found an entrance in the back.
As he entered the house, he noticed something. Music was playing. He slowly walked down the hallway, being careful not to make any sound. Did someone actually live here? From all the stories he had heard, this place had been deserted for years. Yet... he was quite certain he was hearing music. It drifted softly down the hallway, a soothing sound. As he followed the music, he caught a scent. He inhaled deeply, letting out his breath slowly. Someone else was definitely here, or had been here in the recent past. He couldn't tell if they were still here or not, but the scent was definitely fresh. He was immediately wary. Who the hell would be all the way out here?
Joel followed the music. It probably would have been smarter to leave, but his curiosity got the best of him. He turned a corner, and then he froze. Standing by one of the doorways was a girl. The first thought that crossed his mind was that she must be a hunter. He wasn't sure why anyone else would be here. He stared at her for a moment, trying to decide what to do. The way she was standing, it didn't look like she had seen him. Carefully, he took a step back. And then another. Another. Slowing backing away. He was almost out of sight, when one of the old boards groaned beneath his feet, giving him away. He cursed under his breath.

Had been simply enjoying her alone time until that very second where the board creaked, her head lifted from the wall dark honey eyes peered around before she pivoted and kept her left hand on the wall and let it drag before she came into his sight. She inhaled his scent as she just looked at him without speaking for much longer then a brief moment. It was then that her lips parted sweetly - a cute half lip movement and all was barely seen was a little bit of her teeth. With her free hand she lifted it up as if she were to hit him - instead she pushed her bangs out of her eyes. "Were you spying on me? - I hate spys" she moved her free hand from her bangs to place her pointer finger on his chin. She wasn't looking him in the eyes straight on since she was apparently shorter then he was. She then lowered her finger from his chin down this neck down his chest and halted at his torso before circling him before she came back to face him, taking in - build and stature.
She wasn't going to speak again to him. She had asked her question and would wait to get her answer its how she held herself. One question to each of those that she didn't know walking away from him she headed back to the source of music before sitting on the arm of the covered chair that sat there, almost as if it were going to break under her touch - however the armchair was not as fragile as to be thought it would. She simply started at the door was as if waiting for him to follow and answer her question. She was curious as to why he would be here, if he smelt her. Unless he was Sheltering from the rain that was soon going to come , that she would go out and dance in most likely.

As he had suspected, the girl turned around as the board creaked and saw him. He couldn't tell if she was mad or not. It was hard to tell with woman until they smacked you. He bit his lip, unsure of what to do. "Uh, hey there," he said, lifting his hand in a sort of wave gesture. Well, this was just great. This was the second time in the last few days that Joel had been accused of that. Maybe if he stopped creeping around so much and was more direct this wouldn't happen. He wasn't the most social guy though, and he was hardly ever the one to speak first. He just hoped this girl wasn't a hunter or anything. It wasn't very likely, since hunters usually weren't on duty during the day, but Joel was still a little wary.
"Were you spying on me?" The girl spoke now, asking him if he'd been spying. He supposed it had probably seemed that way, the way he'd been sneaking around in the hallway. She was probably as suspicious about him as he was about her. It was only natural. "No, uh..." Joel had started to reply, but before he could get anymore out, the girl placed a finger on his chin. He froze at her touch, lips still parted. He lowered his misty blue eyes so that he was looking down at her. He met her gaze for a moment, holding it. He let his eyes lock with hers. He was still as she moved her finger down his neck and chest. His eyes never left her, even as she drew away to circle him. His gaze followed her, and he found himself growing more curious about her.
Joel watched as the girl walked into the room, sitting down on the arm of one of the chairs. He hesitated, but then stepped inside the room after her. "What are you doing here?" He couldn't stop himself from asking. He'd never encountered anyone in the woods before. Whenever he left the town, he never met a soul. It was a mystery to him as to what this girl was doing here. He moved into the room and sat down on the edge of the bed. He doubted that she actually lived here ,judging how much dust flew up from the bed sheets as he sat down. Everything looked untouched. Well, everything except the record player.

Looked at him as he'd said that he hadn't been spying - she simply just snorted at him. Her eyes followed him as he came into the same room as her. Watching him longer she listened to every word that seemed to feel the need to pour out of his pocket. She shook her head. "I'm here because I simply can be - I have a knack for old items , and I like the music that plays. I cant find records back in town. " She said as she moved to lift the cover of the chair and sit down boots on the seat with her, seems she was small enough to do with out problem.
She had to think for a moment, she didn't quite know what to ask him at this very moment but she knew that she wanted to ask him something. It was common in her nature that others like her had some distinction to tell if they were of werewolf breed. However she failed to notice any signs on him. One way or another it was a good thing. That meant that the hunters would have a hard time too identifying him as what ever he was. She let her honey's look around as she layed her head back against the chair and arms layed straight out on the arms. Just thinking of the rain made her smile. This male was lucky that she hadn't jumped the gun and attacked him. The music kept her at peace.
She then all of a sudden had a question pop into her head as she looked at the ceiling as soft lips parted. She smiled and let vocals slip out. "The real question is - what are you doing here" she said after many moments of silence. She didn't show him an emotion since she wasn't looking at him but she knew he'd answer her - she could smell the curiousness bleeding off of him. That made her content and stayed where she was. Of course she was were-wolf and alpha at that. It was her job to question and flaunt. She could - Untill she found herself a suitable alpha male or beta. Either way - she'd question much of him as he would her.

"I have a knack for old items , and I like the music that plays. I cant find records back in town." He nodded slowly. That confirmed that she didn't live here. So, what then? She just came here for the music? Joel's eyes wandered to the old record player. It was definitely different than the music that they played on the radio nowadays. It actually reminded him a little of what his parents used to listen to. That made sense though. If the rumors about this house were true, it had been built back in the 1800's, around the time Joel had been born. "It's nice," he agreed, gesturing to the record player.
"The real question is - what are you doing here?" Joel knew that had been coming. He'd asked her the same thing, so it had only been a matter of time before she thought to ask about his whereabouts. He thought for a moment, trying to think of an appropriate answer. If he admitted to the fact that he just liked wandering through the forest, that might sound a little weird. Then again, this girl had just admitted to coming to a supposedly haunted house to listen to old music. That wasn't exactly ordinary either. He ran his tongue over his canines, contemplating his answer.
"It looks like it's gonna rain soon. Figured I might as well take shelter, you know?" It was partly the truth. He really didn't like getting wet. He wasn't sure why it bothered him, but it did. Besides, he didn't like saying things that made him seem different. He hated what he was, and he always did whatever he could to hide his true identity. So far, he didn't think anyone in this town knew what he was. At least, not yet. It was a well kept secret, though he knew he wouldn't be able to keep it forever. Eventually, something would go wrong and...
"What's your name?" he asked suddenly.

Would nod somewhat to him as she slipped off her boots as she caught sound of the rain starting to fall she slipped her boots off and set them next to the chair as she looked at him. Standing up she walked to the front door. There was a porch so she just left the door open, in case he wanted to follow all she could do was smile. "Dezirae - And rain , isnt that bad come in it with me?" she said giving him a small pout as she stood on the porch, slipping her shirt off to reveal a bathing suit top white in color , the rain seemed to suddenly fall harder this is the other reason she was at the house the only place she could dance in the rain without being spotted and accused of being what she was.
She left the porch and with a blink of an eye she was against a tree arms up against the tree as her head looked up to the sky. As rain dripped against her tanned body. She was weird when it came to rain it was as if she was seductive and wanting. that wasn't how it really was. She just simply got a boost of life when it rained. After all - she was always different from her own siblings. Her head looked back to the porch to see if he was there, uncertain her honeys just illuminated with sheer happiness. I guess this was how good it felt to be lead with out others like her know that she was and could easily take them down - if others were weaker then her.

The girl didn't answer him right away. Joel watched, slightly confused, as she began slipping off her boots. He wasn't sure if she hadn't heard him or if she was just choosing not to answer. He was about to repeat his question, but she was already walking out of the room. He remained where he was, perched on the edge of the bed for a moment, but then followed after her out of curiosity.
As he approached the door to the porch, which she had left open, he realized it was raining. He could smell the earthy scent of the forest, damp from the falling water. He actually kind of liked that smell. He inhaled deeply, letting his breath out in a content sigh. The scent was refreshing. He walked up to the doorway and stood there, eyes sweeping over the yard. The rain wasn't falling very hard yet, just a light drizzle.
"Dezirae," the girl said, giving him her name. He was startled out of his thoughts, and his gaze swerved back to her. She was standing on the porch now. It was a unique name. Joel hadn't met anyone named that before, and he thought it was rather beautiful. "And rain isn't that bad. Come in it with me?" Joel hesitated. Great. She wanted him to come out there with her in the rain. He had nothing against the rain. He actually rather liked it. The sound was so calming and nice. Getting wet was the problem. It was annoying and he hated the way his clothes stuck to him after.
He stared out at the yard for a moment, eyes drifting up to the sky, watching as the rain fell. When he looked back at the girl he now knew was called Dezirae, she was taking off her shirt. He glanced away for a moment, and then back up at her, a little shyly. She left the porch and walked across the yard, coming to stand by a tree. Joel stood where he was, but then slowly began to follow. He walked slowly down the porch, stopping on the last step, barely being sheltered by the roof. He watched her for a while. She really was gorgeous. "You like the rain, eh?" he called to her, leaning against the railing.

Would watch him only make it to barely being covered by the porch roof she smiled. This time she didn't even bother to walk, she took one step and that one step seemed to make her super speed, as she was in front of him this time looking up at him her wet body shimmering. Hair had been taken down prior to walking out the door. "Rain's my drug" she whispered smiling before smiling at him. She normally only acted like this because of the rain, she was normal when it wasn't going to rain. It was just weird. She was different - obviously one could tell. She pressed her front against him before slowly slipping away to the right walking barefoot threw the woods twirling around trees as she smiled.
She looked to him as she pressed against a tree as if she was hugging it one side of her face pressed against it as she got soaked more. She simply smiled before she took off. As if running threw the woods. All you could hear of her was her giggle. Before she peeked around a tree looking back at him softly. She started walking twords him again as she knelt to the ground a few feet away from the stairs and just layed on her back looking up at the sky eyes closing as it alowed the rest of her frame to get wet and a little muddy its why she didn't wear and expensive brand of clothing for today.

Joel closed his eyes, listening to the rain fall. He liked the sound of it hitting lightly against the roof, a soft tapping sound. There was something about the rain that he enjoyed. It was so relaxing, so refreshing. He held a hand out into the open, letting the rain drops fall against his bare skin. The was good enough for him, just a few drops on his hand. When he opened his eyes again, Dezirae was standing in front of him. "Rain's my drug," she told him with a smile. Joel smiled back.
Dezirae pressed her wet body against him, and Joel glanced down at her a little surprised. He wasn't used to girls acting like this around him. In fact, he wasn't used to talking to girls at all. He usually just kept to himself, doing his own thing. Well, that was a lie. He talked to girls at the bar sometimes. But that was different. That was fake. Just compliment them a few times and listen to them talk. They were usually to drunk to care what he said anyway. Dezirae moved away from him again, turning and heading back out into the rain. Joel swallowed, watching her walk away again.
Joel wasn't exactly sure what had happened. One moment she had been all serious, but as soon as it had started to rain she went all girly, running around and giggling like a child. He watched her, still standing on the porch. She was running all around, coming in and out of the trees. Joel couldn't help but realize how pretty she was. She laid down near the bottom of the porch, staring up at the sky. Joel hesitated, but then he found himself stepping off the last step and into the rain. He ran a finger through his hair as raindrops fell down on him, and then he lowered himself down next to Dezirae, imitating her and staring up at the sky. "I guess the rain's not so bad," he gave in quietly. He didn't really care if his clothes got muddy.

Had heard him move from the porch to come lay down near her looking up at the sky as she had, her head turned twords him looking to him a brief second her dark honey eyes shimmered softly before looking back to the rain. She inhaled then exhaled as she spoke "Whats not to like about it? Its the same thing as a shower. Only real no preserves put in it to keep it fresh, this is what we used to bathe in" she said to him one arm tucking under her head the other outstretched above her head. There wasn't much left to say to him. Though she wondered if he'd figured it out yet what she was. This was a part of herself she normally hid from other such shame she would bring if he'd been hunter, and this him following and coming into the rain was to get her close enough - for a long period to kill her. She took her chances for this as she closed her eyes.
Her hair seemed to get a scrunched like curl from getting wet but she didn't care. She loved the feeling of the rain trickling down her stomach to slide peacefully to the ground below her. She hummed softly before thinking what else to do. Her bike was sitting next to the porch of the house, how she'd gotten here most likely. She'd spend days here if she needed to for the rain. She couldn't let co workers see her drugged up on - rain of all things how absurd would that look telling her manager she acted like this because the rain. Most got drowsy and annoyed she was like a female dog that craved attention.

"Whats not to like about it? Its the same thing as a shower." Joel thought about this. He supposed it was kind of true. "Yeah, but showers are warm," he pointed out. Well, they didn't have to be warm, but he thought they usually were. He had stretched out on the ground now. It wasn't exactly comfortable, but he stayed there next to her, staring up at the sky with his eyes squinted, blinking to shut out the raindrops. He was drenched by now. Drenched and probably a mess. He didn't really mind getting dirty though. He actually kind of liked lying in the mud like this. It was nice and cool against his warm skin.
Joel turned his head so that he was looking over at Dezirae. He wasn't really sure what to say now. He had never been that great at conversations. He just hadn't had that much experience at it. He'd been hiding out in the forest for so long before he had arrived at this town, and it had taken quite a bit of adjusting to learn how to fit in as well as he did. It was then that he realized she didn't know his name. She had told him his, but he had never mentioned his own.
Eyes still resting on her face, he said, "Oh... by the way, I'm Joel. Thought you should know."

Emmett had no idea why he was out here. Basically, he had just gotten bored out of his mind and needed something to do. Since he'd been around the town about a bazillion times already, he figured he might as well explore the woods. He rather liked the woods, though they brought back some bad memories from his childhood. He shook his head, clearing the thoughts.
It had started to rain now, and Emmett wasn't all that happy about it. His bronze hair was getting all plastered down and it was kind of annoying. He was about to turn back, when he caught the sound of voices. Being part werewolf, he could hear things that others would miss. Curious, he followed them. The trees thinned out and there was a house. He looked around, not seeing anyone at first. Then he looked closer and saw two figures lying on the ground.
He quickly realized one was Joel. He'd recognize his bar buddy anywhere. The other was some sexy girl. Wow. Yeah, he really hadn't been expecting this. Emmett grinned, pushing through the trees and stepping out into the open. "Hey, Joel!" he called, cupping his hands over his mouth. He was actually pretty impressed. He hadn't thought Joel would ever ask a girl out, and now here he was in the rain with a topless one. Damn! Well she had a bathing suit top on or something, but still. "Who's the babe?"
Emmett continued to approach them. As he got closer to them, the girl suddenly started looking more familiar. Emmett came to a quick stop. Oh shit. She had a startling resemblance to the lead wolf in the pack he was in. But... nah, it couldn't be, could it? He took a few more hesitant steps closer. "Oh jeez... uh, hey there!" he called, laughing nervously as he realized it really was her.

Social activities had come to a hault as the situation changed to another coming into the clearing, hearing him speak - before taking a better glance she shook her head. "TskTsk - Be more aware to those around. " she simply said not standing up as she continued to let the rain drench her form prior to him coming into the clearing Joel had yet to know that she was wolf. Of course it wasn't like emmet was going to spill that information unless authorized. It was simple. The existence of them could get them killed. Of course she wasn't perfect she'd had her slip ups but the look she was giving off was weary and dazy. The rain feeling was still in her and would be until it stopped. Her dark honeys moved from him back to the sky.
She had infact noted that Joel had given his name without her having to question in him for it. Her focus was of the boys for now. She was paying more attention the mother natures heavenly tears, this time she pushed her self up to a standing position being lead she seemed to be shorter then everyone she started to spin around again smiling to herself though this too was probably the first time he'd seen her when it rained. This was all her normal actions.

"Hey, Joel!" Joel was suddenly alert. That voice sounded familiar. He couldn't place it at first, but then the image of a guy from his work place popped into his head. Emmett. He wasn't sure why the hell Emmett would be all the way out here, but it certainly did sound like him. That was really weird. Emmett seemed like the type of guy who would be out at parties, not exploring the woods. He and Joel came from whole different worlds. Well, other than the fact they were both werewolves. Emmett was loud and outgoing, well liked by everyone, especially girls. Joel, on the other hand, was quiet and reserved, his existence insignificant.
Joel was beginning to think he imagined the voice, but then it spoke again. "Who's the babe?" Oh god, it was him. That remark just confirmed it. Joel flinched. It wasn't that he didn't like Emmett. He was an okay guy. It was just that they were so different, which made it hard for them to get alone. Peresonality wise, they were pretty much polar opposites. Joel didn't have anything against him. He would just rather not talk to him right now. He had come out here to escape the world and be alone. Now he was surrounded by people again.
Dezirae spoke, and he was suddenly aware of her beside him again. Joel slowly sat up, looking over at her, and then over at Emmett. He didn't say anything to him. He just raised a hand in a friendly gesture. He supposed they should probably get off the ground now that they had company. He began to raise himself to his feet, still a little annoyed by Emmett's outburst. He had actually been feeling content just now, lying there on the ground in the rain.
That's when it happened. As Joel was standing up, his foot slipped on the wet mud. He tried to catch his balance, but it didn't work and he went sprawling back onto the ground. Oh god, how embarrassing... He couldn't believe he'd just fallen flat on his face. He was usually pretty graceful and well balanaced. Damn mud. He cursed silently. It was around this time that he realized his lips were warm. It took a moment to register, but he suddenly realized that when he had fallen, he had landed on top of Dezirae. And his lips were so warm because... It took him a few moments to realize what exactly had happened, but when he did, his cheeks started to burn. He'd just... kissed her. But no! It wasn't a kiss, was it? It had been an accident. Somehow he had slipped and fell, and landed at just the right angle. Wow, that was one hell of an epic first kiss.
