Ireland is where we set the scene and the present our time. This has become a place of the supernatural roam as they search the Highlands as well as the Lowlands for the thing that they covet. That want power and they know how to get it, but the only problem is finding it. Little do they know it hides in two young girls. One that's been corrupted with a touch of evil and the other that is still fresh and innocent of the supernatural.
Meanwhile the worst is yet to common as a subspecies of vampire has appeared and the appearance has been causing a strange uproar. Some of the Noble Dead seek to control them while some of the Mongrels are not so primitive and have learned to control themselves. Werewolves are not free of their own little troubles though theirs are more political with the uprising of Emmerich the Hellhound to a higher position. Much is happening in this world and the end is a mystery still.
