- - - - overall personality, Leo loves challenges. He hates it when life is boring, and throwing a little hurtle in the road once in a while always spices things up a bit. He likes to work hard for his achievements and never takes the easy way out. Sometimes he gets frustrated with the challenges he faces, but he never gives up. This is one of the few times his stubbornness comes in handy. Usually it’s getting him in trouble with people, but when he’s faced with a difficult situation it helps him get through it and succeed.
It’s kind of funny how egotistical Leo can be. He really does one hell of an ego and there’s just about nothing that can bring it down. He’s got an inflated idea of his own importance. Or, at least he acts like he does. Leo likes to boast and brag a lot too. It can be really annoying at times, and his actions get a lot of eye rolls. But it can also be pretty amusing. And the thing is, he’s actually a little insecure, he just likes to act like he’s all that. It makes him feel the part.
Leo is ignorant of one thing in particular. The law. To him, they don’t even exist. He just goes through life creating his own and paying no attention to the ones that already exist. If there is some type or rule standing in his way, he won’t hesitate to break it. He’s a little too quick in making decisions and often to fails to think things through, missing the consequences.
One of Leo’s more positive points is his loyalty. He is very dedicated to those he holds close and would do just about anything for them. He doesn’t let many people get close to him, seeing as he is a hunter and his future is always uncertain. He could die tomorrow, get his throat torn open by a vampire, and he doesn’t want to hurt anyone in dying. When he does let himself slip and find a friend though, he gets really attached.
Leo is also hotheaded. He’s got quite a temper, though it takes a lot to actually set him off. For the most part, he’s a laid back guy, pretty carefree and relaxed. When it comes to arguments, he tries to be passive to avoid conflict. However, if you say something that happens to strike a nerve, boy are you in for it. If you manage to make Leo mad, you better get out of there. He tends to bottle up all his negative emotions, so when he does break, it’s one hell of an explosion.
For a hunter, Leo is a good person. He’s not one of those guys that shoots a vampire or wolf without a second thought. Actually, he could probably get fired for this, but he likes to talk to his victims first. He always does what he thinks is the right thing to do. So earlier, when it was said that he was loyal, it doesn’t necessarily mean loyal to his boss. It means loyal to himself. Loyal to those he cherishes. Besides, he doesn't like following the rules, remember?

- - - - overall history, Leo comes from a family of hunters. His family tried to keep it a secret from him, but that is a very hard secret to keep and he ended up finding out eventually. He was a troublesome kid, always sticking his nose here it didn’t belong. Ever since he was young, he believed in vampires in werewolves. They were supposed to be fictional, but he believed in them. When he was a child, he believed to have seen a werewolf out his window. He hadn’t known what it was at the time, not until years later when he found a book in his parent’s study.
Leo began training at the age of fourteen. This was the time when his parents decided he was old enough to be of assistance to them. Of course, he had already known their secret, but he didn’t tell them. He was good at acting and pretended to be shocked. Leo trained hard for a few years, and he was taken out on a bunch of expeditions with his parents. Most of the time, they just had him watch. However, as he got older, they allowed him to hold one of the guns.
One night, however, things didn’t go according to plan. There were more wolves than usual. His parents said they could take them, but Leo panicked and tried to help. In doing so, he ultimately led to their defeat. He hadn’t trained enough yet, and he ended up giving away their position. Because of this, both his parents were killed. Leo was hanging to life by a thread for a few days, but he was a fighter and somehow he managed to pull through.
After that, he trained harder than ever. He didn’t waste any time mourning. He was devastated at the loss of his family because they were all he really had, but he knew that sitting around and doing nothing would get done. It took a lot of years of suffering for him to become as good of a hunter as he is now. At first, killing creatures with his own two hands made him sick. He was as bad as the creatures that killed his parents. He was a monster. But he knew it had to be done if he ever wanted to find the wolves that murdered his parents and get revenge. He also feels that somehow, him doing this will one day make up for his mistake as a child.
