Sebastian is an eccentric fashionisto. He loves extravagant clothes and high fashion, no matter how gaudy or how ugly. He's trendy and generally over the top, a perfectly legitamate male counterpart to Lady Gaga. His favorite genre to pull from would be gothic victorian, and Sebastian has a flair for lace, silk, leather, and paunchy hardware. Sometimes he wears makeup as well, mostly just a smudged black eyeliner. His clothes always show off his lean figure, whether they are skin tight or draped away.

Sebby is a sort of wild, raucous son of a bitch. First impressions would have anyone assume that he is certifiably insane with a death wish. He's very rough around people he's just met, often trying them on for size with blatant observations and crude humor. However sharp-witted, Sebby is undeniably calm and almost ignorant to any present danger which he may get himself into with another person. He's carefree and flamboyant, touting his egotistical confidence in himself almost as much as his ass. Ambiguously omnisexual, Sebby also has little respect for personal boundaries and lives precariously by making himself comfortable as close to a person as he can without getting hit in the face. He likes to taunt and condescend, and is ultimately very hard to get into, or form a friendship with.
He's a pretty wild guy. He's the kind of person who'll make his own path through the city to convenience himself. His impulses and sponentaiety make him hard to follow, but incredibly risky. Sebby makes snap-second decisions and often doesn't fully account for the consequences of those actions. He lives primarily in the now and isn't afraid of making his own rules rather than following those made by the streets. However, Sebby has the walk to back up his talk. Everyone around knows that Sebby is one hell of a good shot.
Unfortunately though, without his gun Sebby is downright weak. His egotism is disturbed enough that he takes his excellence in gun slinging to a vain level; purposely starving himself because he is so confident in hitting his mark. But when he is without a gun, Sebby is easily breakable. His mind plays a tough game; enjoying a bit of masochistic play which severely daunts his opponents, but ultimately Sebby is dead without his weapons. His body is constantly a wreck, especially with his ulcers and previously broken bones. His horrible smoking habit is constantly getting at him and prevents him from running long distances. Sebby also catches sicknesses very easily and vacillates in and out of having an eating disorder. Sometimes he's weak, sometimes he's strong, but his yo-yo health isn't doing him any favors.
Sebby looks like a loner, but he actually loves to be around people. Even though he scares most people away with his unconventional personality, he makes an effort to get to know whoever he meets and thinks people are fascinating. He loves hearing a person's "story" and is addicted to people with skewed personalities. His constant teasing and egotism often destroys most candidates for friends, but those who can put up with him have an excellent ally. Sebby can be pretty loyal (as long as he takes care of #1 first) and is always the life of the party. Even though his macabre sense of humor can wear on people, he's not at all inherently maniacal.
The hardest part of Sebby to find is his vulnerability. Sure, he can be serious when he has to be, but not usually very open. And if he does say anything about himself, he's usually very flippant about it, as if it doesn't matter. He never really expresses how he feels about things or why, but merely goes about as if he doesn't have any feelings at all. Sebby would rather get very cold than warm, and as egotistical as he is, doesn't talk about himself too often. It's very difficult for him to sustain romantic relationships, especially with women or sensitive men. And yet, Sebby intrinsically yearns to be acceptable wants people to care about him. He doesn't want to get hurt in the process though, and keeps his guard up no matter what the cost.
What is happiness to Sebby? Happiness is shown as an increase in zeal and energy, as when Sebby is pleased he is often sharper than usual like a playful Doberman. He'll take the extra effort to climb fences, jump over things, and run backwards all while shouting insults at his friends and prey. He also curses more when he's happier and flaunts his figure around like a fag. Sebby can get sort of giddy and jittery when he's pleased and content, affably buying drinks for everybody when he goes out to bars. He'll talk a lot about homicidal things as well, along with being extra playful with his gun. In essence, happy Sebby is quite scary.
Angry Sebby is quite the opposite, as a sudden vortex of sadistic resilience forms within him. Sebby is often very subdued when he's angry, but speaks sharply and with more acerbity than usual. His egotism shoots through the roof and he's almost seductive whenever he's pissed off. His fingers will tend to stroke his gun, as if it were a cat, but he won't ever take it out and throw it around like he would if he was happy. No, he'll just contentedly pose and glare, commenting as necessary. Angry Sebby is quicker to fire than happy Sebby, and is less forgiving and has less forethought. He will be more drastic and dramatic, with a flair for danger.

Dietrich K. Jaeger - Father.
Natalie M. Jaeger - Mother.
Frederick J. Jaeger - Brother.
- - - - pets,
None.
- - - - overall history,
>> The Jaeger lineage has carried down the bloodline of able-bodied hunters for centuries. A trade passed from father to son or daughter, the firey hatred for beasts of the night taught and trained. Some more successful than others, and a somewhat notable name, just because they've been around forever.
>> Dietrich Jaeger was a good, hard working hunter. Not the greatest, but he slayed a good deal in his prime and still lived to tell the tale. Married Natalie, a sweet baker whose mother's pie-shop served as a meeting ground for hunters for years.
>> Born January 8th, 11:54 pm under no real unusual circumstances. Except for the fact he was a 10 pound baby and absolutely dies whenever his parents tell people that.
>> His parents moved to the countryside soon after he was born in order to get away from the paranoia of the city. The Jaegers gave up hunting momentarily to raise their baby in safety. Or rather, babies. Sebastian was three when his brother Freddy was born, sickly and premature.
>> Two brothers raised by the warnings of their parents. They were home schooled most of their life; Natalie taught the standard curriculum while Dietrich passed on the hunter's heritage. The two boys were polar opposites from a young age. Frederick was better at formal education, while Sebastian was the better hunter. A sibling rivarly sparked between the two.
>> The boys grew up well enough, acceptable young teenagers growing into their identities. The Jaegers moved back into town, ready to start hunting again and allowing the boys to go to a real high school. Sebastian flourished in city life, while his brother greatly opposed it.
>> In the mean time, Dietrich guided his sons on hunting trips, Sebastian always so eager to jump in and get into trouble. Too cocky, on one such instance Sebastian went after a vampire by himself and wound up in terrible trouble.
>> Eric Deveroux, a rather sinister fellow, captured Sebastian, making him a pet and form of amusement. Sebastian lived with Eric for many years, narrowly talking Eric out of turning or eating him. Out of neccessity, Sebastian was able to fool Eric into falling in love with him, which kept Sebby primarily safe. (Unfortunately, Sebby vascilliates in and out of whether their love was fake or real).
>> Eventually Freddy was able to track down save save his brother, vanquishing Eric. Sebastian was distraught and manic. And while Eric hoped to rehabilitate his brother by living together, ultimately Sebastian never went back to the way he used to be.
>> Some years later Freddy and Sebastian moved on and away from each other. Freddy found a woman and married her, and had no room for Sebastian to stay any more.
>> Sebby came back to hunting, but not without making strides in his day job. As a place of peace, Sebby went from merely shelving books for a few dollars an hour to becoming a librarian. He enjoys the job excessively, and has taken it upon himself to make a special section devoted to hunter literature.

Lucian wondered what kept vampires from offing themselves. To think of themselves as “immortal” creatures was untrue, they were more like “abmortal”, because there was always the very real possibility that vampires could die. Torn limb from limb and burned in flames – vampires could die. There wasn’t anything “immortal” about it. There was something sinful in it, as in their existence, but that only applied to sensitive religions who believed in a lot of other wacked crap. Did hell and heaven even exist? Because right about now even hell was looking pretty good. At least in hell one knew where they were; knew there was no way out. Not like living where one was a prisoner of their own device.
Lucian viewed God as an egotistical hypocrite, if He even existed. Who had the right to proclaim that they love every single creature and yet stand to see those cast off into flame? And what would happen if you believed in one single religion, devoted all of your life, and it was the wrong religion? Does that sort of adherence count for nothing? What did petty humans do to deserve such injustification – especially if the all-knowing God knew that Adam and Eve would fall in the first place? And so who was to say that all of this wasn’t just a sham? Millions of people believed in Hitler even through his slaughters. Who was to say such deities were nothing but societal fads or a moral validation of life – a reason to keep people from offing themselves.
Shakespeare’s Hamlet was possibly Lucian’s favorite book. Fear was the great variable, the one thing that keeps people in bondage instead of freedom. Whether fear of a deity or fear of the unknown, it is perhaps the greatest fear. People and vampires don’t have wills to live, they have fears of death. And yet, the ultimate irony is that death comes to all people, the great equalizer of mankind. And for vampires – the ability to die. A flaw in their makeup that keeps them cautious. Lucian wondered how much longer fear would be sustained in his heart. He wondered at what point would his soul be exhausted and completely succumb to the sweet romance of death. Tomorrow? In seven hundred years? All he knew was that he had lost again and the weight was getting heavier.
Lacey was so gentle, so careful and precious beneath his violent mouth. Lucian calmed down slightly, but his body tensed. One hand entangled itself in her soft hair while the other grasped her back. His hand twitched with the wild, instinctual urge to claw and scratch, but he suppressed the urge. He wouldn’t do that to Lacey; she was a flower, not a meal. He was heedless of the furniture or of their environment. The world could’ve came crashing to a halt and Lucian wouldn’t have noticed. He wished it did though. This kiss and this vulnerability was doing nothing but stomping on his already broken heart, grinding the pieces into dust.
It only made matters worse by Lacey actually kissing him back – that was the true knife-in-the-heart moment. At least if Lucian’s feelings were one-sided then he could understand the true solidarity of Lacey’s love of Tristan, but the fact that she was kissing him back only filled Lucian’s mind with “what if”s and crashed them all down. The fact that she cared for him in much the same way meant that their love was mutual and so much more strong. What if this Tristan didn’t exist? What if, by some butterfly effect, she had never saw him that day? What if Lucian took Elena’s advice and never went off to war? Where would they all be?
Lucian ceased in quiet resignation as Lacey started to push him away; his moment was up. He was glad she did stop him though, who knew how long he could’ve held her for. He looked into her eyes, her face like a ghost’s. But as soon as she spoke those words – those senseless, stupid words – Lucian growled violently, sending the table beside them flying to the floor with a crash. He was suddenly standing over her, hands clenched tightly into fists, his expression of that of wretched anger. She didn’t know what she was talking about! She didn’t understand! She could never be a monster; never in a million years.
“You idiot!” Lucian roared, “I have seen the likes of monsters that you could never imagine - blonde Nazi beasts and vampires who rove on sexual prowess alone. Those both mortal and not – I have seen true monsters and you will never liken yourself to them, Lacey. You call yourself a monster and yet the true beast stands in front of you! I am a slave to impulse because if I ever slowed down I would be consumed by my own past. You are going to deal with yours. You are going to face your demons and that is noble. You’re not a monster and you’re not allowed to degrade me by calling yourself one,” Lucian shook his head, an electric tenseness seemed to surge through his entire body like the building of static, “You are an angel.”
Lucian looked at her with a firm glare as the room filled with fresh silence. He didn’t want to look at her any more tonight. Gracefully, Lucian turned away, stepping over the remains of the table with ease and carelessness. Forcing himself to walk slowly, he made his way down the hall towards his “bedroom” which had few uses to him but a space to be alone. Reaching the door, he shut himself inside before his legs gave away, sending him crumpling to the floor in a soft heap of stone. He laid there, face merged with the carpet. He hadn’t laid down in a very long time, but something very nostalgic lingered. Or maybe he was just relieved to be alone, where he belonged. The moments before were already turning into dreamlike memory.
