He laughed at her comment. Nice to know she was being amusing. Better than him running her through, or molesting her like last night, though. Yes, she'd take laughter happily over other options. He brought up last night, and she scowled slightly as he smirked. He went on to explain how his brother began to love the hunters he was supposed to be fighting against. It sounded like something straight out of a cheesy romance novel.
And his smirk grew as she spoke again. That was just as annoying as his little nickname for her. Then, he became serious, speaking about his father. If he was scared of his father, then she would probably be right to fear him as well. She really was curious as to what his fathers power was, but she didn't ask. It was more powerful than his own ability, apparently.
Then, more on his father. He was apparantly he head of a giant vampiric clan, and could order them to come and get the hunters here. Krystal shivered slightly. That was not something that she would sleep easy knowing about. The way he was talking, it was a good thing she was unable to kill him, or it would have been quite bad for everyone here. Absently he ran his finger along the blade in his hand, and lifted his finger up for her to see. It was bleeding.
"See, my Hime, I'm not completely untouchable. Just to you I am." She knew vampires bled, just like the rest of them. Accidental shots with silver bullets proved that time and time again. But, he was right. She couldn't kill him, he was untouchable for a human, and maybe even another vampire. If only hunters could get something like the vampires and werewolves, something that gave them a one up, to be on equal footing with them. That probably wasn't going to happen anytime in the near or far off future.
"Must you state the obvious?" She asked, since she couldn't think of anything else to say to him. Maybe it would annoy him, hopefully it would. Then again, annoying him might not be in her best intrest. Neither was hunting though.

Lured To The Light, Just Like A Fly, You'll Get Caught In My Web. He began to wonder just how much trouble would she get in for just talking with him. Perhaps not much considering they had no way to hurt him, maybe they had been ordered not to confront him and it was just her luck she bumped into him. If that be the case then things were going to go well for him here in this small city. If they were just biding their time then he would let them, it wasn't like he was going anywhere anyway. And it might prove to be more interesting in the end, even if his death triggered a choatic event it would still be interesting. Indeed his father was a force to be reckoned with, no one lived that long without growing a reputation. Hence why there were few hunters in Japan, even few werewolves. For his father ruled with an iron fist and Yusuke knew he wasn't handing over that power any time soon. If only the human before him could understand just how powerful his old man was, then maybe she would reconsider learning to use that blade. "I believe I must for you are not talking, and no talking means we should be fighting. Unless you can think of something different? Like perhaps we go eat?" He teased knowing full well she would never accept his offer. Though it would be rather amusing if she did and they came across another hunter, imagine the lies she had to tell to get herself out of that much trouble. "So why did My Hime decide to become a huntress? Did my kin kill your family or a friend and you witnessed it? Were your parents hunters and they just raised you to be one? I'm curious to know." And indeed he was curious as to why the blond chose such a destructive path, for there was nothing to look forward to in the end only death. She wouldn't understand what it was like to raise a family and be oblivious to the whole thing. She wouldn't know what it would be like to live normally, to go out and have fun. Instead here she was partoling the graveyard like a good little solider.

She wondered how long this encounter would last, and how the ending would turn out. At leat no one else could possibly get involved this time - not unless she made a phone call, which she doubted she'd be able to make before he'd stopped her. Krystal would rather face him alone than get another - like Carla - involved. It was a graveyard, and she was highly doubtful anyone else was going to come find her and him here. Well, that is, she was highly doubtful that anyone other than another hunter or supernatural creature would show up.
"I believe I must for you are not talking, and no talking means we should be fighting. Unless you can think of something different? Like perhaps we go eat?" He said, his voice teasing. She'd actually rather fight with this oversized knife than eat with him around, thanks. Krystal shook her head, her hair wiping side to side.
"No, and I don't thank you for the offer." She told him, her hand clutching the sword sheathe for a moment, unable to ball into a fist, before she released it. Did he really think she'd have said yes? Krystal hoped not, because what kind of hunter did he take her for? That didn't matter, either way. She was a hunter, and a damned good one, and whatever his opinion on her didn't matter.
"So why did my Hime decide to become a huntress?" He went on to list different scenarios that would lead one to hunting vampires. Why did everyone automatically assume it was a vampire that caused something traumatic to happen and thus the child became a hunter? Granted, that was the reason she became a hunter, but it wasn't as if there weren't werewolves out there that had killed too.
"Who said it wasn't a werewolf?" She demanded. Krystal didn't plan to tell him anything about her past - if he wanted to know so bad he could figure it out for himself, or go on not knowing. That was fine with her, and you know what, he could deal with it.

Lured To The Light, Just Like A Fly, You'll Get Caught In My Web. The conversation would go for as long as Yusuke deemed it so. She knew she wasn't going to get away any time soon so there was no need for her to try to hope for a swift solution, unless she wanted her death to come quickly then he would oblige. "Oh? Not even for a snack?" He teased once more, it didn't matter what he said everything seemed to get under her skin. Which was fine with Yusuke, all that frustration she would be building up, he knew a good way for her to release it. "Because..." Yusuke said as he stood up and the moment he did he ran towards her fast. There was no need to use his mist for this distance, besides he was getting lazy and needed the excerise. He ran straigh for her, stopping the moment he was in front of her. One hand rested on the sheathed Katana the other ont he back of her neck. Jerking her head forward so they were only a breath apart. "You dispise me more, which in turn means you hate my kind more." Then he did something that was going to push her over the edge, he leaned in his lips landing on herself for a second. He could feel her warmth, he could smell her, he could taste her. Before she even had time to react his body disappeared, using the ability she hated so much. "If you didn't before you will now." Laughter followed his comment which seemed to echo around her. He was going to stay like this just for a little bit longer, as easy as it was to not be harmed by her bullets he didn't want to give her the satisfaction of giving her a target.

"Oh? Not even for a snack?" He said, teasing again. She didn't rise to his comment. It wasn't as if she could stop him from... snacking... if she wanted to. Ugh, that thought made her almost shudder. No, she most definitely did not want to join him for a "snack". Ugh, she had to get that out of her head. She tried to change her thoughts, and she didn't notice he'd moved - as if she would have even if she'd been paying attention - until he was right in front of her.
She hadn't expected him to move, especially not that fast. He'd been slow up until now. His hands were at her neck and on the sword. A gasp was forced from her throat when he pulled her head forward roughly, making her closer than she wanted to be to him. Krystal tried to pull from his grasp, but she did know it was futile, for he was much stronger than she. "You despise me more, which in turn means you hate my kind more." he informed her, telling him his reasoning for choosing vampires in his scenarios. Then, he did something she didn't really expect.
He kissed her. The damned vampire kissed her. Before she could fully register that thought, he disappeared into mist. She spun in a circle, doing a one eighty, trying to find him as he spoke again. "If you didn't before, you will now." His laughter came from all around her. Yes, she did hate him, an emotion that she'd never needed until now. He was the perfect manipulator. He couldn't be harmed and he knew all the buttons to push.
"Coward!" She yelled into the air. "Hiding behind your stupid power!" Krystal couldn't help herself. How dare he mess with her like that? She was half afraid of where he'd show up next, because there was no way to fathom where he'd be. There was no way to track one who hid as the air itself. It was just impossible. She didn't want him to touch her again, but that wasn't going to happen. He probably was going to pop up right behind her and grab her or something, and it was going to be the nightmare from last night all over again.

Lured To The Light, Just Like A Fly, You'll Get Caught In My Web. Yusuke was no coward, never had been and never will. It was a defensive power and true he used it a lot but why not? It was there to be used and he would use it to its full potiental, no matter what the situation was. "Jealous?" His voice echoed again as he watched her spin around trying to find him. He would be able to keep this trick up for a while and use it a few more times before he would get bored of the girl. Maybe he should warn her and tell her the reason why he hadn't killed her yet. Maybe then she might try to liven things up and for once he couldn't even imagine what she might do. Oh he was going to tell her, he had to now that he had placed those thoughts in his mind. "Haven't you even wondered why I didn't kill you last night? Or why I haven't killed you already?" He asked once more his voice echoing around her. He began to laugh but he was suddenly cut off by something in the air. A scent, it wasn't human and it wasn't a vampire so that only left one more race. He appeared behind her, a hand clasped over her mouth and brought her down to the ground with him, hiding behind the tomb stone. Pressing an index finger to his lips he mouthed the word 'dog'. His look was serious, letting her no he was no longer kidding around. They had company and for some strange reason he was hiding her from them. Slowly he removed his hand, hoping in high hell she wasn't going to scream if she did well he could get away but what about her? Carefully he turned his body around, as he peered over the top of the tomb stone he could see three of them. They were still in human form but that didn't mran they weren't a threat. Sitting back down he held up three digits letting her know just how many. "Did you bring silver bullets?" He asked, for if she didn't then she was going to have a hard time defending herself.

She probably looked like a fool, turning as she was, but she didn't want any surprises. It wasn't like she was spinning so fast that she'd make herself dizzy, just enough to keep herself aware of the area around her. "Jealous?" Of him, or of his power. His power would be useful, yes, but she could do without it. Him, no. Hell no. She didn't respond to his question, she just kept up her vigilance.
"Haven't you ever wondered why I didn't kill you last night?" As a matter of fact, that very question had bothered her all day today. She should, by all rights, be dead. "Or why I haven't killed you already?" Yes, that was a pretty good question too. He started to laugh again. She could really begin to hate that laugh, it grated on her nerves. As if he heard her thoughts, his laugh ended abruptly, which caused her slight alarm.
Then, he was behind her. She knew it, knew he would pop up behind her. One hand was over her mouth, and he pulled her downward. She tried to lock her knees, to keep him from getting her down, but she wasn't quick enough and down she went until she was kneeling behind the tombstone with him. He motioned for silence and mouthed a word - "dog". So, a couple of werewolves had come to play and he was scared? Geeze, what kind of bad ass vampire was he? His hand lifted slowly, and she was tempted to make a noise, but thought better of it. She still didn't know how many were out there.
He looked over the tombstone for a long moment, then turned back to her and lifted three fingers. Three. Well, good thing she hadn't made a noise. She couldn't take three on by herself. The one time she had to take two on she nearly died. "Did you bring any silver bullets?" What the hell kind of hunter did he think she was? Did she have any silver bullets? How insulting was that? Honestly.
She drew her gun from the small of her back and flicked the safety off in response. Krystal would yell at him later, not like he'd care, but it would make her feel much better. Whatever was going to happen was going to happen, and she was ready for it.

Lured To The Light, Just Like A Fly, You'll Get Caught In My Web. Thank god she didn't scream, for he really wouldn't have been able to watch his own back and her's. But why would he be watching her back? Simple, if anyone was going to kill her it was going to be him but all in due time. When she pulled out her hand gun Yusuke, nodded a smirk appearing on his lips. "Just checking seeing you forgot the silencer last time." His voice was just loud enough for her to hear. Even in their situation he still managed to find the time to tease her, oh he was never going to hear the end of it, which was why he did it. If he managed to get her to hate him so much that he was on her mind all the time then it meant she was obsessed. She would continue to hunt him down, try to find ways to kill him, constantly fail. He didn't mind the idea of the beautiful blond trailing him all the time. Seeing the sheathed katana he had given her just a few feet in front. He wanted it, he planned to wield two blades and therefore he needed it. Using the shadow on the ground he made it drag it closer towards him. Once he was able to grab hold of the handle he made the shadow pull the sheath back carefully and quietly. His other hand rested on the other katana on his hip, they were getting closer he could smell them which meant they could smell him and Krystal. Turning his head towards her he gave her a curt nod, letting her know it was time to fight. With no more warning Yusuke disappeared with both swoards. Even though he was standing up he couldn't be scene, there was one to the right, one in the middle and one to the left. Another one of his smirks appeared but not like anyone could see it. As the werewolves were heading over to where they had been Yusuke went to for the one on the right. Appearing right behind it, he was in mid air both swords coming down fast. The other two were surprised at how fast the scent had changed places and turned their backs to the tomb stone and headed for Yusuke.

"Just checking, seeing how you forgot the silencer last time." Ugh, he was going to drive her very noisily insane. He enjoyed tormenting her, that she knew, but couldn't he pick a better time to get his kicks? Like, for instance, when there weren't three werewolves coming at them? Well, he was so cocky and sure of himself, maybe he could be a little flaky, but she wasn't invincible like he was. She could die by one of them, and he was making jokes.
Movement caught her eye, and she saw the sword she'd dropped moving towards them. How in the hell was it doing that? The sword ended up hilt first in his hand, and then the sheathe came off by itself. She just stared for a moment, then her mouth opened to ask how he'd done that, but she froze the question in her throat and closed her lips. Later. Questions later.
He nodded at her and disappeared. Time for the fun to begin. She wasn't sure if she should rise and shoot, so she waited for a moment, to see what he'd do. Would he abandon her here, leave her for the dogs to rip apart? She wouldn't put it past him. But that would probably ruin all his fun. Hmm, either way, she'd wait a moment, see what happened next before she made a move. If they "stumbled" upon her, she'd shoot and do her best not to die. If he did something, she'd shoot and still do her best not to die. Fun fun.
Then, he appeared with no warning, in the air. She had to assume that he was above one of them, and he dropped down quickly. Footsteps, heading away from her she noted, signaled her time to rise up from behind the tombstone and take her aim. She picked the one in the center and took two shots. They were quiet, and they flew straight like an arrow, straight into the center of his back.
Krystal wondered what the third wolf would do. Would he run away, tail between his legs, or would he fight to his death? She didn't even know if they were bad, they just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and she had to take her frustrations out on something, since Yusuke was not so obliging as to let her shoot him. She took aim on the third one, ready to fire.

Lured To The Light, Just Like A Fly, You'll Get Caught In My Web. Yusuke pulled both blades out of the first werewolf, it was a clean cut there was no healing from the damage he caused. Japanese steel could cut through bone like butter, it was why it was his favourite weapon and why he was good at using them. Blood covered his new suit, as he looked down at the one he had just slayed his eyes stayed focused on the blood, which wasn't a good thing to do. The rush of the fight, the excitment of having the fight and being around Krystal, it added all up. And Blood lust settled in. By the time he turned around one of the other werewolves were shot dead. But it didn't matter in his eyes there was still one left, one lone wolf. Once it realised both his friends were dead he picked the smarter move and ran. Or at least he thought it was the smarter move. Yusuke could catch up to it in a heart beat, he could disappear like before and reappear just as he was about to attack but not this time he wanted to do something different. All he did was click his fingers and the moment he did the werewolve froze in its tracks. Or more like was stopped. Black shadows surrounded his legs making it impossible for it to run. Lifting up his hand towards the werewolf more shadows seemed to come to life and took on a third dimensional look as they began wrapping themselves around the body of the werewolf. "Your all the same until you fight alone!" Except the words that came out weren't English, they were Japanese. Blood lust for the fight had already settled in, there was no turning back until they were all dead and he had something to eat. Again he clicked his fingers and the shadows moved quickly, dashing across the werewolf's body, leaving large cuts and wound. In turn the beast howled, hopfully calling for his pack to come save him. Even if they came Yusuke would be ready, he needed a fight and something to kill. But unlike the first two he was letting this one die painfully, at this point he had reached insanity. He wouldn't show this creature any mercy, not even if it begged him. Still the shadows moved over its body making more wounds. At this stage he had forgotten about Krystal he was too busy enjoying the torment and suffering of this creature.

She never got a chance to shoot. The wolf turned tail and run, and she lowered her gun slightly, content to let him go. Her gaze moved over to Yusuke, who was staring down at the corpse of the werewolf he'd killed. There was blood everywhere, on him, the weapons, and obviously the body. Blood. Shit, he was a vampire. He turned, ignoring her, and saw the third who was running. She knew with absolute certainty that the third werewolf wasn't going to survive the night.
He snapped, a click breaking through the night, and suddenly the wolf stopped. Krystal stared, confused, wondering how a simple gesture as that could stop a werewolf. A dark mass began to form around it, and what followed it was probably one of the more horrifying killings she'd seen. Not the fake movie killings with all the editing and fake blood, but real killing. One got used to seeing crime scenes of ripped and mutilated bodies as a hunter, or you just didn't survive.
He yelled something, but it wasn't in english. She had no idea what he'd said, but she was pretty sure it was Japanese, seeing how he was from Japan. The mass had by this time surrounded the wolf, almost hiding it completely from her sight. Another snap, and they began to move, and where they met flesh they cut and ripped, tearing at the werewolfs' skin. He howled, and she could not find any reason to blame him. It had to be painful, some of those gouges looked to be to the bone.
Her hands went slack on her gun, but she didn't drop it. Training wouldn't let her do such a thing as that, but she was just barely clinging to it. It was horrifying, the scene before her, but she couldn't close her eyes to it. He howled on, how was he still alive? He must be out of his mind with the pain by now. She wanted to make the scene before her stop, to end, to put it out of its misery. Belatedly, she realized she could shoot it, because now it would be a blessing. She didn't care about whatever Yusuke'd do to her, that howling just had to stop.
She lifted her gun and took aim quickly, firing three rounds at the poor wolf. Yes, she did sympathize for him. He might not have been a bad wolf - and even if he was, n one deserved what the vampire was doling out.

Lured To The Light, Just Like A Fly, You'll Get Caught In My Web. As the howl increased Yusuke began to laugh, not the type of laugh he used before. Not the tormenting but playful one, it was dark and mencing. He was physically enjoying the pain he was inflicking on this creature and he wasn't going to stop not until it stopped howling. Yusuke's body shook with excitement, with pleasure, with sheer enjoyment. This was the side he had shown on the battle field, this was the side that made people afraid. There was good reason too for if he was human and watching this, he would be afraid too. Still the shadows cut into him like a knife in butter and he could see the blood dripping onto the ground, that beautiful crimson colour, the colour of life, the colour that he loved to drink. It was when he saw three bullet holes enter the creature did it finally die. A frown came across his brow, who in the world just ruined his fun? Who in their sane mind would come between Yusuke and his victum. With the shadows still holding the werewolf he turned in the direction of where the shots were made. "Human..." He spoke in english, his head tilted to one side as he looked at the beautiful blond. He had seen her before but in his blood lust names were useless to him, except one. There had been coutless times Sophia had seen this side to him and the only thing that saved her was the name he called her, 'My Hime'. Those two words would always snap him out of it, those two words that Krystal hated. He took a step forward and waited for the girls reaction. Her face long a distant memory. This was what it was like for an elder to be taken over by bloodlust and the frightening thing was his father was even worse then him. Again he took another step before the corners of his mouth curled upwards. "Blood..." If that wasn't more then a warning to Krystal for her to run and she didn't there wouldn't be much hope for her. His hand rose again and the shadows were released from the wolf they hovered around his body as though waiting for their next order and that next order was to capture his mid night snack.

He'd started to laugh. It wasn't the laugh from before, the one that had begun to annoy her, but one more evil. Then, her bullets flew through the air, penetrating the wolf, ending the terrible howling abruptly. His laugh stopped as well with the wolf's death, and she looked at him, warily. That had been a foolish move on her part, but it had to stop, or she would have gone crazy. He looked towards her, and she could tell he wasn't the same as before.
"Human.." The word was english, she could understand this time. He was staring at her, and she could tell by the way he stood, through his eyes, that he was no longer all there. It was the vampiric blood lust. And she was the only living thing in reach. Shit, she just screwed herself royally. There was no telling how this would have played out if she hadn't killed the wolf, but she highly doubted he'd have been saited by the death of the wolf.
He stepped forward, and she instantly took a step backwards to match it. She was not letting him any closer if she could. Another step forward for him, another backwards for her. Her legs hit something hard, and she realized that she'd already reached the tombstone behind her. She'd have to turn to find her way away from him, and that meant her back would be to him. She did not want to do that, but if she had, so be it.
"Blood.." Once again, in english. She looked up at him again, and now his hand was raised slightly, the darkness around him. Oh god. She thought she'd known fear before, but that was just the tip of the iceburg compared to this. Krystal was sure that this was the last night she'd see, because this blood crazed vampire was going to kill her. But she wasn't going to stand here and let him. She turned and ran between the nearest gap between the tomb stones, hoping to get away before he decided to kill her the same way he had that werewolf. Oh, what a horrible way to die.
Everyone, no matter who you are, vampire, werewolf, or human, has the fight or flight mechanism in ones brain. Krystal was completely consumed by the "flight" instinct, to the point where she was not conscious of anything but the man threatening her behind her and the path before her. She didn't even think to call for help, or to try to shoot. She just ran.

Lured To The Light, Just Like A Fly, You'll Get Caught In My Web. Yusuke watched her reaction to when he stepped forward, she took one backwards and she repeated the process when he did it again. This one was going to run, thats all Yusuke was thinking. The chase would soon begin and heaven help anyone who stood between Yusuke and his meal. If she was a vampire she would be fine, if she was Sophia she would know what to do to snap him out of it. However, she was neither, she had no idea that two simple words, a name, would save her life. He had no reguard for his own safety, he didn't even think about the gun she held in her hand. No all he cared about was eating, having a snack, maybe before she should have taken him uup on that offer. He would be full and have no need to hunt, but nothing was going right for this human, not since they met the night before. It was just as she moved away from the tombstone did he order the shadows to move. He however was slow to react, the shadows moved fast hitting the tombstand she had been standing in front of moment ago. It was like a small explosion as the tombstone shattered into pieces. Again he recalled them and slowly he began to move, following her scent. The only thing he could see was red, no other colour just red. What he could smell was a tasty human who had fear dripping off her like a gravy, he needed to taste that fear. Yusuke followed but what he hadn't counted on was the howl being answered. He could already smell them coming and all he could think about was how they were going to take his meal away from him. No he found her first, she was his. Even in this bloodlust he had the urge to protect what was his and that meant Krystal. They were coming and coming quick, he needed to get to his meal. Running faster, his arms were dangling behind him, the katana's still in either hand. That was when he saw one leap out at her and this time rage took over. "NO! MINE!" He yelled and the moment he did the werewolf was intercepted by his shadows throwing it off course. Nothing could be seen of the werewolf but it could he heard, a high pitch yelp came from it as the shadows crushed it before moving to the next one. He wasn't sure how many there were all he knew was they were in the way. They were taking what was rightfully his, so long as they kept coming Yusuke was occupied and completely forgot about the fact he was hungry. His bloodlust and rage would soon be warn out on these dogs, just how soon was the real question.

There was an explosion-like sound behind her, and she flinched slightly as she was moving away. She wondered what it was that he'd hit, but she didn't look. She didn't even glance back to see where he was. Krystal could just imagine where he was, how he was following her. She knew he enjoyed chasing his prey, after all, wasn't that what he'd done the night before?
She heard the footsteps behind her speed up, and all she knew was that it was over. He was going to kill her, and she wasn't going to be able to stop him. Then, something jumped out at her, from the side, and she fliched away, dodging off to the side. Krystal needent have bothered, for at that exact moment, the predator behind her yelled and attacked the werewolf.
A high pitched yelp cut through the night, and Krystal stopped, looking up, wondering what exactly was going on. It was Yusuke, and he was fighting the werewolves that had come in response to the howling of that other werewolf. And they were all going to die. She knew that for certain, because of his actions. He immersed himself in this, and she knew he'd enjoy it.
Krystal couldn't see how many wolves there were, she just saw movement in the dark. There could be five or fifty, and she'd never know. She stood, staring again as he slaughtered mercilessly. There was nothing she could do to stop him, but at least he wasn't torturing them before they died. That would have been the worst.
She was so fixed on the carnage before her that she didn't hear the footsteps behind her, signaling something was coming at her. Something grabbed her wrist - the one connected to the hand holding the gun - and spun her around, holding her hand above her head, so that the gun was useless. Her eyes widened slightly, and a slight whimper emerged from her lips - but then she recovered from the shock and tried to get at her knife in her pocket.
She didn't know why the stupid wolf hadn't just killed her when her back was turned, but he still hadn't done it. Her hand dug deep into the pocket with the knife, nearly slicing her hand in her haste.
[occ: wanted something fun =D]
