It wasn’t like he was a stalker or anything. Seriously, he wasn’t. His feet had kind of just brought him here on his own, and now he found himself standing in Dezirae’s drive way. Joel hadn’t seen Dezirae since that night she had ran off into the woods. If you wanted to know the truth, he had kind of been avoiding her. Whenever he caught her scent in the breeze, he made sure to head the other way. Because really, why would she want to see him after he had let her down? Yeah sure they had just met, but he still felt some sort of connection to her. He couldn’t really explain it. And, not to mention, he was still pretty ashamed about what had happened back there. If he had been focusing more, he was sure that he could have kept her there. But no, he had let himself fall for her little trick, and look what had happened. God, he was just glad Emmett hadn’t seen that.
Joel took a step toward her door, but then stopped. What was he doing? He should just get out of here. What would he say to her anyway? Sorry? Yeah, that was great, but then what? I mean, he wanted to make sure that she was okay after what had happened. That she hadn’t hurt anyone. Or more importantly... hurt herself. But, it’s like his feet were glued to the ground. He couldn’t make himself walk up to her door. Joel sighed, his breath rushing out. This was why he stayed out of relationships. They were just too… complicated.
After a few moments of standing there, Joel turned around. He took a step, about to head back down her driveway, but at that moment a shrill bark sounded from the yard. He looked up, an alarmed look reflected in his blue eyes. Out of nowhere, two large dogs came charging at him. He held up his hands, backing away. He wasn’t scared of them or anything, but the way they were barking… it was loud. The neighbors would hear. Worse, Deziraue would hear. “Shh!” he hissed frantically, trying to shoo them away.
They would have none of that though. The larger of the two lifted its head, letting out a long yelp of excitement, and then leapt at him. Joel couldn’t tell if they were being territorial or playful, but he knew that if he didn’t get out of there soon or someone was going to see him. Joel ran a few steps down the driveway, but the dogs kept following him. “Shut up!” he said a little louder, stumbling back as one of the dogs collided with him, its large paws pushing him down to the ground. He landed with a thud, practically being tackled by the creature. “Shit!” He was trying to push the slobbering animal off him as he attempted to scramble back to his feet.

---> Had just gotten done taking a shower and refreshing herself from prior occasions the nights before. That was until she heard her dogs bark with much excitement and some territorial actions. She slipped on a pair of tight blue denim pants, aero style and a tank top. Black. Of course it was spaghetti strap so her chest had much to breath. She slipped on her echo sneakers and headed down the stairs, guns were not needed in this most peculiar time because she couldn't tell her dogs if they were mad or happy. She got to the screen door and just simply blinked.
Her hand had to go to her mouth, as she simply giggled. Whistling to her dogs. She giggled more as they moved off of him and she walked down her steps twords him. She didn't much care what happened the other night. She knew that they wouldn't be able to conceal her. She was just glad that he'd finally come to her home. "JOEL! How good to see you" she exclaimed as she walked over to him face to semi-face since as usual she was shorter then him. She let her hand run down his chest like she did when she had first met him. A smile never left her face as she circled him then grabbed his hand and pulled him twords her house.
She missed him she really did. It felt like a part of her had been ripped out since he had been avoiding her. It had made her really sad. Normally she was fine when one male didn't come back to see her the next day or week or whatever but there was something about Joel. . that she simply adored. I mean she hadn't quite asked him if he wanted to be in the pack. She didnt know if he was technically already in it. Or what, she was just happy again. She hadn't seen emmett in a while but she kinda figured she would at some point. He'd burst in with amounts of apologies for her, if not just immature tongue sticking outs.
However enough about Emmett she wanted to hear how joel was doing. She really did oh so miss him. "I've missed you. I'm so glad you came to visit" she said and letting go of his hand as she opened the screen door to let him in. She didn't touch him the whole time the door was opened. She wasn't mad at him. In fact she couldn't ever be mad at him. That was just how she felt - of course there were others around that she knew about. Yeah she could get mad at them. She was supposed to after all. She yawned some as she waited for him to get inside, calling her dogs for them to join as well.<---

Joel looked up at the sound of a quiet giggle. He lifted his head, and to his embarrassment, Dezirae was standing there watching him. He quickly backed away from the dog, straightening up. Before he could get pounced on again, Dezirae whistled, calling the dogs away from him. They happily dashed back to her, tails wagging furiously. He supposed that they'd just been trying to play with him or something. Maybe they sensed he was a dog deep down too. Just like them. An... animal. He just kind of stood there awkwardly, trying to think of something to say to her. He couldn't think of anything.
Luckily, Dezirae saved him the trouble. "Joel! How good to see you." He glanced up to see her walking toward him. What surprised him was that she actually sounded like she meant it, and the happy look on her face only enforced it. He felt her hand run down his chest and he was flooded with memories of the day they had first met. "Oh, uh, hey," he said a little sheepishly. It was hard to keep sulking when she seemed so excited. Excited to see him.He paused for a moment, and then added with a slight smile, "Long time no see, eh?"
The next thing Joel know, Dezirae had grabbed his hand and was leading him back toward her house. "I've missed you. I'm so glad you came to visit." Joel was a little taken aback by her words. "You... are?" he asked, sounding a little doubtful. He wasn't sure why she was glad to see him. He'd screwed up. She should be mad at him, right? But she wasn't, and all he could do was follow her up to her door. She released his wrist then, opening up the screen and holding it open for him. Joel hesitated, but then stepped into her house at the invitation. "Me too. Er... It's good to see you I mean," he said as he walked past her, answer a little delayed.
Once Joel was inside, he began to look around. So, Dezirae had a place of her own, huh? He was kind of jealous. There were a lot of times he wished that he had his own house. Living in an apartment was a pain. The people above him would always blast loud music at the worst of times, and no amount of banging on the ceiling would make them turn it down. It would be nice to have a house. More quiet. More privacy. "Nice place," he said quietly, turning to see if she was following him inside.

--->Smiled listening to him speak. She watched him as he looked around her home. She came in behind him, the palm of her hand placed on his back as she smiled before walking to her kitchen letting him follow her. It was simply country the style of her home. She loved how it was and she never really changed anything about it. "I really do mean it Joel. - I knew you and Emmett wouldn't be able to handle me" she smiled. Pulling out a chair so that he could sit and she sat in her own.
She smiled as her dogs came into the house with her. Nuzzling her and laying in the kitchen with them before she leaned her head against her hand looking to him. Her dark honeys shimmered as she happily looked to him. "You know. I have some rooms in this house free. There all pretty big - I was wondering.. would you like to stay. You don't have to though" she said. She knew it was really big for her to ask something like that of him, because she'd not known him that long but he seemed like that kinda guy you could trust with anything. She felt that she could trust him in her house when she wasn't home.
She looked to him. She had heard all the words he said, she knew that, none of them really needed an answer - she could get by with simply smiling. Music could of course be heard faintly it was plying three rooms down, in her bedroom the largest room of the house of course since it was in fact her house. She smiled at him as she tried to think of what to say to him. She puffed out a sigh as she didnt know what else to say. It seemed every time she was around him she was always for a loss of words.<---

Joel followed Dezirae into the kitchen, watching as she sat down. She pulled out a chair for him and then looked up with a smile. "I really do mean it Joel. - I knew you and Emmett wouldn't be able to handle me.” Joel gave her a questioning look, and then slowly lowered him into the seat next to her. “Then why’d you have us try?” he asked her, and then lowered his eyes, staring at the floor. If she had known they wouldn’t be able to keep her under control, why had she asked? She was acting like it was no big deal now, but... “I’m sorry. We... I could have done better.” He bit his lip, lifting his blue eyes to meet hers now. “Nothing happened...did it?” He was guessing that nothing had, otherwise she probably wouldn’t be being so kind to him right now.
"You know. I have some rooms in this house free. They’re all pretty big - I was wondering.. would you like to stay? You don't have to though.” Joel blinked, eyes widening a little bit as she asked the question. He really hadn’t seen that one coming. “Would I like to...?” He trailed off, unsure of what to say. Judging by the look on Dezirae’s face, she was being completely serious. He was tempted to blurt out yes, anything would be better than those awful apartments. And she had said they were free. That would mean he wouldn’t have to go to that hell hole of a job as much without having to pay rent. But... wouldn’t that seem a little forward?
“You mean it?” he asked, kind of tilting his head to the side. “I mean... that’d be great and all, but I don’t want to impose on you or anything.” It seemed like she wanted him to be there, which was a little surprising, and he wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. It wouldn’t really be a hassle for him or anything. He didn’t have much stuff... And he felt like just agreeing to it was out of line. I mean, they hardly knew each other. Though, he was attracted to her, he wouldn’t deny that, and it was kind of hard to turn down her offer.

---> Would watch him as he sat down in the chair she'd pulled out for him. She put her feet on the edge of the chair and just looked to him. Giggling at the actions of her previous question. "I wouldn't of asked if i hadn't meant it Joel - Besides I could see us being 'roomies' for a long time" she said and stood up from her chair walking over to to the fridge and bent down to grab at the lemonade. Pulling it out to show to him. Smiling to him. "Not to mention my stellar cooking and lemonade" she giggled and walked over to cabinet and grabe two glasses just in case he had chosen to say yes she didnt have to walk all the way back over to the cabinet.
She poured the drink into both glasses and brought them over to the table so he could make his decision then. She wanted to get to know him more, what better then to ask him to live with her. He wouldn't have to do much. Of course he'd have to pay his own bills. She could do that for him she had plenty of money but that wouldn't teach him anything. Her hair was slowly starting to dry as she yawned and looked at him. She didn't know what they could do. So when she sat in the chair she let her leg glide against his as if it were the time she'd tricked him on the bed. She tucked a lock of hair behind her ear as she continued then would stop. Only to lower her hand to pat her dogs that layed by her chair.
She would look to him and smiled once more "Joel I really wish you would. . I'm so lonely here - and you would be the less messy of the ones i know" she smiled and looked at him as she stood back up and walked behind his chair her hands placed on his shoulders as she started to massage them. "I can be helpfull in a lot of things - I can be a shoulder to lean on, someone to just talk to - anything" she said to him in his ear softly as she gave up on the lemonade and walked into her room which was on the first floor.<---

”I wouldn’t have asked if I hadn’t meant it, Joel,” she said and giggled. No, of course not. She wouldn’t have asked something like that only to tell him seconds later that she had changed her mind. Still though, he was a little surprised at her offer. It was pretty forward of her, considering they had only just met. “Not to mention my stellar cooking and lemonade.” Joel lifted an eyebrow, watching as she walked over the fridge and got out a pitcher of lemonade. He let himself grin a little at this. “Oh, really, huh?”
Dezirae set a glass in front of him, but before he really had any time to drink it, he felt her leg brush up against his. He slowly looked over at her, only moving his eyes. She seemed to do that a lot. Little flirtacious gestures. That would probably take some getting used to. Not that he really minded or anything. It was just kind of new. I mean, the girls at the bar flirted with him, or tried to, but that was different. And then she reached her hand down. Joel’s eyes followed her motion, watching as she stroked the head of one of her dogs.
“Joel, I really wish you would...I’m so lonely here.” She really did want him to stay, didn’t she? She was...lonely. He found that he didn’t want her to be lonely. It was a horrible feeling. He hated it. He was lonely all the time, but he had just accepted it as a part of life. But... Joel’s thoughts were interrupted as he felt Dezirae’s slender hands squeeze his shoulders. He tensed a little at first, but then his muscles seemed to relax, and his shoulders slumped a little. He sighed heavily, releasing some pent up stress.
The massage didn’t last for long though, in another second Dezirae left the room, disappearing through a doorway. Joel sat in his chair for a few moments after she was gone, turning over her offer in his head once more. It wasn’t the fact that he would be sharing a house with someone that made him hesitate. He already did that, living in an apartment. This was different though. They would actually see each other. Be able to talk. Joel hardly knew her, but... maybe it would be better if he bonded with his own kind? It would probably be safer if he wasn’t around any humans, right?
Rising to his feet, Joel followed after Dezirae, coming to stand by the door she had disappeared it. He stood in the doorframe for a few moments, but then slowly took a step inside. “Hey,” he said quietly, his expression still thoughtful. “Give me some time to think it over, but...” He paused, and then added, “I think I might just take you up on your offer.” He seemed to lighten up a little, fighting back a smile. “I mean, I couldn’t pass up the lemonade, could I?” He narrowed his eyes in a teasing way.

---> Just smiled some as she walked around her room, she was opening the window curtains, since they had been closed the previous night. She always opened her windows in the morning and always closed them at night. It was just how she operated. Her hair was slowly starting to get dry. Walking over to her dresser she'd grab a clip and put her hair up. Looking to him she walked back to him and pressed by him. She walked to her living room and started to open the window curtains in there and opened every other window. Could you blame her? It seemed pretty hot out so what was a girl supposed to do? Swealter in her own home.. as if.
Like any dog thats smart and loves their owner. Both her dogs were following her around the house, sometimes you could hear her yell at them in a sweet manner for them to move out of the way. She'd playfully place her foot to one of the side of her dog and push him out of the way with her tongue sticking out in which made the dog bark. She giggled as she sat on one of her couches and waited for Joel to join her in this room. She was moving from room to room today only because she hadn't been up that long she'd woken and taken a shower, then heard him outside. So to open her windows didn't come as fast as she normally opened them.
She had heard his previous vocals and would answer them in this room.Take all the time you need Joel I'm not going to force you." was the answer to his considering it. She kissed her dogs on their nose and patted them. Giggling at them softly. Giving them equal love. "Yeah, My lemonade yum" she giggled to him. Of course her voice carried to where he was because she hadn't seen him come around the corner so she had to speak semi loud. <---
