•••--Sophia’s first day out. She was feeling really nervous about the whole thing. In truth she would rather stay back at the Yamoto home. That way she would be closer to Yusuke when he was home or his sister. She knew the Caleb would be coming with her just not in the view of others, but still. She wished to be with someone. In all the three years she had been a slave, not once had she been alone. Well besides being in her room but it was always guarded by Caleb. He seemed to be everywhere she was. Sophia didn’t know if that was to keep her safe, or if that way Yusuke’s way of seeing how loyal she had become to him.
She had picked to walk on her first day out. It was sunny out so she didn’t think she would have a run in with another vampire, all she needed to worry about would be a werewolf smelling vampire on her. She didn’t really know how the whole scent thing went, but she knew if anyone seemed to be following her she would hit the speed number on the phone that sat in the deeps of her pockets. This was her coat, a nice brown colour with a Japan style too it. Sophia had grown to style the way Yusuke wanted her to look. Living with six hundred year old vampires did things like that to ya. Well Yusuke was the only one she knew that was six hundred but it puts her point out. They were all very old.
Letting her gray, blue eyes glance around the street she found herself coming up to the two square. She hadn’t really any idea of where she was going but she noticed the stores and knew it would be a good idea to go look at them all. She smiled to herself making her cheeks pull up in a way that made her look more like a child then nineteen. In truth it may had been three years since she was taken into this way of life. A life of a slave, but really she was set at the age of sixteen still. She had never gotten to be that teen, a real teen. So now that she was getting to go out more she felt more like what she was really three years ago.
Only this time she had money and safety from getting attacked by anyone. Yusuke really didn’t like when others touch or really thought of Sophia. The thought made her smile a little. That’s when Sophia came up to a shop called Up Beat. She pushed the door open to hear a loud ring buzz throughout the store. Looking about the store as the door closed behind her, Sophia spotted the movies.
Movies were something that Sophia never really got to see anymore. She felt her face light up. She knew if she bought some that Yusuke would let her watch them. She felt like a young child again and almost ran over to the movies to start looking for good ones. She picked a good store to go to, this way she would have a reason to go straight home afterwards. A bright smile was playing on Sophia’s lips as started to read names of movies before turning them over to get more on what they were about.
