Rustic Hipster chic is probably the best way to describe Parkers style. She likes to wear vintage dresses paired with hiking boots or flannel jackets. Sometimes she likes to go for a twist on Annie Hall style, men’s jackets and vests paired with feminine skirts or tops. She likes feminine accessories, hats, slower pins, large bracelets, and odd vintage pendants. Her style is unusual but fairly comfortable and eye catching. When parker decides to wear makeup she usually just wears mascara, eyeliner, and lip gloss. She usually aside from careful thrift store shopping, doesn’t put too much effort into how she looks.

Parker isn’t the most outgoing person in the world. This doesn’t mean that she is shy or mean, she just won’t be the first person to make an effort. She prefers to watch and listen as opposed to interacting, and likes to keep an aura of mystery abut her.
Parker doesn’t talk much but when she does people tend to pay attention. Sometimes it’s more interesting to her to say or do something weird just to see how another person reacts. She is rarely malicious, but she does like to shake things up a bit. Parker usually has very low energy level, and often comes off as being laid back and apathetic. She is brutally honest and has a tendency to call people out when she thinks they aren’t telling the whole truth.
Parker suffers from depression and sometimes goes into periods of self destruction where she does stupid things and pushes people away from her. Parker actually has a really good heart, she just finds that life is easier when she detaches herself and prevents her feelings from being hurt.

Parker doesn't believe in fate, but it doesn't mean that a few things in her life weren't predestined. Her father carried a gene for depression which he so lovingly passed on to her. Maybe it was his depression which caused him to leave the family he had for a secretary, maybe he was just a jerk. Parker was only 7 when he left, she doesn't remember too much about her father and goodness knows her mother didn't speak much about him. Poor Helene was left to raise two girls alone and on a waitresses salary.
Parker was always a strange and quiet child. She stood out because of her worn out second hand clothing and big blue eyes. Teachers always remarked that she had difficulty fitting in with other children, but it was all chalked up to the trauma of having an absent father. Parker was fairly smart but rarely applied herself. She did all of the typical teenage rebellion things smoking, drinking,for a while she even did cutting. She didn't do anything to fit in; she did things to feel, to stop feeling, and to see if her friends truly liked her. fortunately the answer was that her friends did in fact like her, they got her to guidance councilors and they figured out she suffered from depression.
Once Parker was put on anti-depressants she became less self destructive and apathetic, but it didn't completely erase that side of her personality. Thing were actually going pretty well for Parker untill her older sister disappeared on a hiking trip. It's been two years since Tabbitha disappeared. Parker has given up hope of finding her, it's just easier to go on with life that way.

“That’s like the third time someone’s peed on Santa”
That phrase had been enough to get a grunt of agreement from Parker. She had been perfectly ware that a child had just peed on Santa, she was just at the point where she didn’t care anymore. The only way to get though the hellish job of children’s mall photographer was to quietly leave her brain asleep for the duration of the day. There was no artistry to the photos she took. The mall had ordered a cookie cutter Christmas background and Santa throne. The subjects walked up, she told them to smile, and she clicked the button.
Every good photographer has been there. Sure Parker liked to make photographs that were edgy and captivating, but she had to pay the bills. Every year she took a few jobs like these; taking photos of Santa, or the Easter Bunny, or Weddings.
Parker quietly reminded herself that things could be worse the getting $10 an hour to stand around in an elf costume and tell people to smile, she could be the one who had just gotten peed on. In photography as in life it’s all about perspective.
