Desirae thanked them. Emmett smiled brightly at her, trying to lift the spirits of everyone in the room. After the door was closed tightly, he went to his place on the chair, slumping back down into it. He stretched out his arms and then leaned back, making himself comfortable. He had a feeling this was going to be a long night. Emmett knew what could happen if Desirae turned into a wolf during a storm, but Joel didn't. Joel had no idea what he was in for if she were to transform.
"Sooo," he Emmett said, drawing out the word. He didn't really have anything to say, but he didn't like silence. It bothered him for some reason. He watched Joel and Desirae for a moment. They were both lying on the bed next to each other. Sleeping on the bed would have been nice, but seriously, three was a crowd. Then he let his gaze travel to over to the door. He really hoped that Desirae wouldn't have any trouble and everything would just go smoothly. He also hoped that Joel wouldn't try anything with her. He knew it would be tempting if they were in the same bed like that all night. Then again, Desirae was gorgeous and Emmett really wouldn't blame the guy.

Had smiled when Joel joined next to her on the bed. These sheets she'd wash anyways. She treated this house like it was her own and she didn't often come out here to it. She just didn't feel like walking back to her own abode to do such. "Soo... Sew buttons on longjohns" she snickered to Emmett. One of her hands shifted to lay on her belly as she just continued to stare at the ceiling. She didnt really want this to happen but she knew it would at some point. She knew better then to change feral in the house but if she found she was by the door she would force her inner wolf to lay low.
This wasn't going to be something pretty for anyone to see. She remembered when emmett first saw this. He'd actually helped she was glad that he knew most of the precautions that were going to come out of this. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly . Trying to think of a conversation to spark but at times like this she just wanted to listen to the rain fall down. If anything - Joel wouldn't be able to talk to her alone if he had wanted to - because she wouldn't allow Emmett to leave not because she didnt want to be alone with Joel - she much did. She just didnt want to hurt Joel and Emmett was the only one that could stop her - or better yet help her.

The room had gotten quiet. Joel didn’t really mind though. He actually kind of liked the silence. It was a lot different from Emmett drawled out, “Sooo…” and then Dezirae said something, but Joel didn’t really hear her. He wasn’t really paying attention to either of them right now. He was just staring up at the ceiling, eyes tracing the tracks in the wood. The rain was pounding harder against the roof now, more rough now, not as soothing as it had been before. He was thinking about earlier, when he and Dezirae had been outside in the rain.
Thunder suddenly boomed overhead, seeming to shake the walls of the house. That startled Joel out of his thoughts, and his eyes flew back open. The lights flickered a little and then came back on. It seemed that the rain was really turning into a storm now. He cast his gaze over to the window, looking out at the dark sky. In the distance, there was a flash of lighting. “Some storm,” he said quietly, before looking back at the ceiling. The thunder rumbled again, this time a little louder. This time the lights went out.

Emmett jumped a little at the sound of the thunder. He followed Joel's gaze out the window, staring out at the stormy sky. You couldn't even see the moon tonight because the clouds were so thick. "Some storm," Joel said. Emmett gave a quiet laugh. "You got that right," he answered, looking away from the window now and up at the flickering lights at the ceiling. All of a sudden, another clap of thunder sounded and the lights went out, leaving the room dark and illuminated by the flashes from the lightning. The house seemed to vibrate with the noise and he covered his ears. It was too loud for his already sensitive hearing. "Blackout!" he announced, hoping no one was scared of the dark.

She'd nodded to Joels words until it seemed that they were in the middle of a black out, in which case made her dark honeys illuminate only because she was on the verge of changing and she really didn't want to. Of course all this made her clutch the bedding as she breathed - trying so hard not to let her inner out. Of course her attempt to grab the sheets was joels hand but she didn't care right now touching someone made her calm down a little as she closed her eyes for a second. She could feel it wanting to come out but she knew it would force its way out at some point.
"Joel. . . " was all she could get out as her hand squeezed his anad her honeys glanced over at emmett as if sorry. She didnt know why she acted like this right now but that door, she wanted to be out that door. Her body shot up still in a sitting position as she stared at the door immensely. She only said joels name because she was going to make a break for it. She was going to bust that door and feed.

As the second rumble of thunder died away, he felt Dezirae's hand grab his. He hadn't really been expecting that. Her hand was gripping his pretty tightly. He froze, unsure of what to do at first. Was she scared of the thunder? "Joel..." He heard her breath his name, which made him turn his head to look at her now. When he looked at her, he quickly understood that the thunder wasn't the problem.
Maybe... maybe she couldn't control it? Maybe when there were storms her wolf side became dominate? That is what he was beginning to think. No one had really told him what was going on. They'd left him in the dark about the details, so he just had to make assumptions. All he knew was that he was supposed to keep her from transforming, and the way she had just sat up made him a little wary. "What is it?" he asked her. And then again, a little more urgently this time, "What is it?" Joel slowly sat up next to her, raising himself up. He looked at Dezirae and then followed her gaze to the door. Her eyes were urgent, like she wanted out.
Joel slowly freed his hand from her. Then, he got onto his knees and moved so that he was in front of Dezirae, blocking her view of the door. The look in her eyes... He knew that look. It was an expression he had seen in his own reflection in the mirror countless times. The desire to transform. He bit his lip, unsure of what to do. She had told him to keep her from getting outside, and the way she was looking at the door made it look like she was going to bolt any second. "Focus on me," he told her, voice quiet. He was right in front of her now.
The clouds rumbled with thunder again, lightning flashing outside the window, lighting up the room for a split second. Joel reached out his hands and placed them on her shoulders firmly. "Focus on me..." he said again, voice trailing off. He locked his blue eyes with her honey colored ones, as if trying to calm her that way.

Emmett tensed as he saw Desirae sit up. He hadn't missed the look she gave him, almost like an apology. He understood right away. He was suddenly serious, all traces of the silly boy from earlier gone. Quickly, he rose from the chair and moved over to the door. He stood in front of it like a wall. "Don't let her off the bed Joel," he said. It was an order. If she got out of the room, they'd have to chase her and it would be much harder to stop her once she escaped the safety the house provided. Emmett had confidence in Joel though. And anyway, even if Desirae got off the bed, she'd still have to deal with Emmett and he was guarding this door with his life.

Watched as Joel moved in front of her and obscured her view of the door, that made her glare at him. She had heard his previous vocals before him blocking her sight. His blues looking within her honeys. She breathed in and out feeling his hands firm on her shoulder. She yearned to run outside. Her wolf did that was nothing about her human wanted to leave at all. She tried to fight it. Her hands went to Joel's chest as if she were going to push him out of the way then he spoke. Telling her to focus on him thats when she just held onto his shirt. Head rested against his chest. She'd heard Emmetts vocals too and she smiled inwardly to the fact that Emmett was so strong and knew exactly what to say in a situation such as this.
She knew that she would form here. Her wolf was to polite to wreck a house, to get what it wanted. She squeezed tighter to the loos fabric of his shirt as as she kept inhaling and exhaling, her inner was really getting mad,"It hurts. . emmett - I have to " she said. She knew he wouldn't agree to her words because it wasn't her speaking,it wanted out so badly but she would stop it from doing anything it wanted she wouldn't allow herself to hurt her pack member or one that she might ask to join.

Dezirae's hand rested on Joel's chest, and for a moment he thought she was going to push him away. Or, try to at least. He still wasn't sure which of them was stronger. Unfortunately, he thought it was probably Dezirae though, being born a wolf. It just seemed like it would make more sense. She didn't push him away though. Instead, she just grasped at the fabric. Joel felt sympathy for her. Holding back a transformation was such a hard thing to do. He couldn't even do it.
"Don't let her off the bed, Joel." The younger wolf's voice had become serious now, in control, a drastic change from earlier. So, he could be serious after all. Good to know. Joel wondered how strong Emmett was. He had been born a wolf too, after all. "I'm trying," he answered Emmett. Joel had no intention of letting Dezirae off the bed, but if she transformed into a wolf, he doubted that he could hold her. Werewolves had things like teeth and claws, and he knew better than to think he even stood a chance against that. Now, if he could transform into a wolf at will like some could, things might be a little different. He couldn't do that though. He wasn't that powerful.
"It hurts... Emmett, I have to." Joel quickly turned his attention back to Dezirae. His blue eyes were wide with worry and anxiety by now. He kept his hands resting on her shoulders as he felt her grip on his shirt tighten. "Focus on me," he reminded her again, voice slightly urgent. He had to remind himself to stay calm. Joel inhaled deeply, letting his breath out slowly. "It'll be alright." His breath rushed out, voice softer now. He hesitated, but then wrapped his arms around her in a sort of embrace. He held her against his chest, arms encircling her tightly, obviously having no intention of letting go. "Don't. Don't give into it."

"It hurts... Emmett, I have to." It killed Emmett to see her like that. He, himself, didn't have that many troubles with transforming. For him, it only happened on nights when the moon was full, so he was always well prepared. His expression was anxious as he watched her and Joel on the bed. He just hoped the guy knew what he was doing. Emmett stood, back against the door, tensed and ready to jump into action if he had to. He really hoped he didn't, but he was prepared just in case. "You can do it Dez," he said, trying to be encouraging. "You're stronger than that."

Couldn't focus anymore. She heard them both talking then felt Joel's arms embrace her to keep her close and not move. She was so tempted to send him flying to get out of the house but Emmett was there and she had taught him well on what to do. For guessing Joel wasn't doing to bad either she was actually surprised by this. Her hands dropped from his chest to her knees that seemed awful close to his lower torso. Of course her being out of it she didn't really seem to know all to well what she was doing.
She tried pushing Joel away with out flinging him across the room first. She would retort to that if she needed to it really wanted out but she couldn't, she couldn't let it. She heard Emmett's voice and Joel's as they kept reassuring her that she needed to not give in to it.

For a second, it looked like Dezirae was going to cooperate. As Joel wrapped his arms around her, her arms dropped away from his chest and she seemed to go limp for a second. However, as lightning lit up the room again, she was once again trying to push him away. Joel tightened his grip on her and then glanced over his shoulder, casting a desperate look at Emmett. He didn't know what to do. It would be great if the other guy could get his ass over here and help him hold Dezirae down. The two of them could probably do it with no problem. Then again, he did understand the importance of him guarding the door. So, it looked like Joel was on his own.
Dezirae was still fighting him. He could feel her pushing against him, even with his arms wrapped around her like they were. She gave him a hard shove, and Joel felt himself being pushed away from her. He was ready this time though, so he didn't go sprawling off the bed. He held on to her tight, not letting her budge him. Joel pushed back against Dezirae, kind of leaning against her and forcing her to lie back on the bed.
He laid on top of her for a moment, but then quickly moved back a little, below her stomach, so that he was sitting on her lower area. His legs rested on either side of her, the weight of his body holding her there. He grabbed her wrists, pinning her hands against the bed so she couldn't try to push him away. This time he was at the advantage. It took him a few moments to realize the position in which he was sitting on top of her. Normally, he wouldn't do anything like that. But... it did work good for holding her down.

Emmett held out his arms helpessly as Joel cast a desperate glance in his direction. "I have to guard the door!" he told him, tone reluctant. He did think that if they both held her down, it would work better, but there was always the chance of her pushing them off. Then the door would be unguarded and she would escape. In her wolf form she would be way faster than them and catching her would be impossible. When Emmett looked back up, he saw that Joel had pinned Desirae to the bed. It seemed like kind of a suggestive position, but he didn't say anything about it. He didn't really care what was going on, just as long as they could keep her from transforming. He didn't want her to get out of the house and hurt someone. He knew how horrible she would feel if that happened.

She felt herself fall to the bed then her wrist being held and someone ontop of her. She looked up to Joel - Hardness in her eyes never left they wouldn't untill the rain stopped. She continued to breath hard but she definitely lost focuse on transforming. Since this pose was so - embarrassing, but she just smiled at him as her eyes softened. Of course this could have easily been a trick so for him to let go would result badly as she closed her eyes and tried to move under him. In which made her back arch distracted or not this wolfess wanted out and out she would keep reaching to get.
She continued to squirm under the grasp of Joel as she held back a growl - or snort however which you wanted to describe the muffled sound coming from her throat. She soon about twenty minuets later practically gave up on fighting seems he wasn't going to let go any time soon.

Joel held her in place firmly as she struggled against him. All he could really do was pray that the rain would let up soon and she wouldn't transform. He thought that it would be okay, if she was pinned down like this. It was a rather embarrassing sort of pose, a little direct. But, really, he didn't see any other options right now. Just holding her in his arms hadn't really been working. If they'd stayed like that, he had a feeling he would have just ended up getting pushed away like he had earlier that day.
It took a long time, Joel had lost track by now, for her to settle down. He wasn't sure if she was just getting tired or if it was because the storm was slowly passing by. The thunder was starting to get quieter now, more distant. The flashes of lightning could still be seen, but they were fainter. No one had spoken the whole time, and silence had fallen in the room. The only sound was the droplets of rain hitting lightly against the roof. Joel looked down at Dezirae, blonde hair falling into his face. She seemed to have relaxed, but there was no way he was going to let her up and find out. He shifted his weight a little. "Are you going to be good now?" he asked quietly.
